My wife Lu and I are actually living in our second Hynes-built home. The first was a weekender purchased in 2001 while we were still residing in Florida.

We were so impressed with the quality of his product and how interested Jerry was in follow-up and relationship-building that it was a natural to reach out to Jerry again when it was time to depart Florida and relocate permanently to Big Canoe.

In 2007 we purchased a lot, designed a home and placed its construction in Jerry’s trustworthy and capable hands. We then returned south to tie up loose ends. Six months later our new home was ready, on time and under budget…most of this accomplished without regular site visits on our part. Should we ever decide to build again, Hynes in the Pines will definitely be our builder.

Hynes Construction did an outstanding job with the addition of our third garage, a work room over the garages, two bathrooms and renovating our bunk room. In the beginning, Mike McEachern, the manager of the project, was very professional with his estimate and proposal. Each day he advised us of the work that would take place and which crew would be at our house. As with any building project, we had a lot of changes; Mike had workable suggestions and was a phone call away – always answering the phone, even on weekends. The crews did an outstanding job and meets Hynes Construction high expectations. We are very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend this company to any of our Big Canoe neighbors.
